parameters.
1. Radiation Resistance —— the most important parameter. It does
decide how many years the Laminated Glass with EVA
Film can be used for outdoor.
How to test:
Make the laminated glass with EVA FILM subjecting to 2000 hours
(different form different standard) of radiation. The
samples of laminated glass with EVA Film are placed at a distance of
1,100mm from 16 ULTRAVITALUX lamps which was
form a 1m*1m field. The temperature is maintained at 45℃ (5℃ tolerance
)and the humidity is 50%.
To measure the durability, the luminous transmission has been measured
by the wavelength between 380nm and 780nm before

In the end, compare the differences of Light Transmittance and check
the presence of any faults(bubbles, opaqueness,
degumming etc)
2. Humidity Resistance—-Placing the laminated glass with EVA FILM
samples vertically inside the climatic chamber and
maintaining them for two weeks at a temperature of 50 degrees and 95%
relative humidity. Water condensation on the surface
of the laminated glass samples is allowed.
No bubbles or opaqueness are noted in the spacer in any of the
laminated glass samples tested. (Bubbles only appear along the
edges, but at less than 15mm from it.)
3. Impact Resistance—-For example： 45kg shot-bag drop from 1200mm
height. It remains unbroken or broken, but no shear
or opening is allowed within the test piece, through which a 75mm
diameter sphere can pass freely.
4. Ultraviolet Radiation Blocking Rate—-Tested by the Light Spectrum Meter.
5. Tensile Strength—-Tested by the Universal testing machine
6. Elongation—-Tested by the Universal testing machine
7. Adhesive Strength—-Tested by the Universal testing machine
8. High Temperature Resistance—-Boiled by hot water
9. Visible Light Transmission Rate—-Tested by the Light Spectrum Meter
Packaging of EVA Interlayer Film for Laminated Glass
How the EVA interlayer film manufacturers package the EVA interlayer
film? Especially the importers of EVA interlayer film
would care about this much.
1.The EVA interlayer film manufacturers firstly seal the EVA
interlayer film by PVC, then package it by the paper skin. And for
the EVA interlayer film exported to foreign country and shipped by
sea, it will also packaged by the wooden box to protect the
EVA interlayer film.
2.If you have specific requirements of the packaging, you can tell the
EVA interlayer film manufacturers, normally they will do
as you said. But there maybe some added cost of the customized packaging.
3.Some EVA interlayer film manufacturers have tried to use the vacuum
sealed packaging to avoid the moisture of the EVA

Storage Notes of EVA Film for Laminated Glass
If you have imported some EVA interlayer film before, you would know
that every EVA Interlayer film manufacturers will give
some attentions of storage of EVA interlayer film.
1.Heavy burden shall not be laid on the EVA interlayer film and the
EVA interlayer films shall not be piled up more than
three-layer.
2.The EVA interlayer films should be used up in time after the
packaging is opened; if not, please re-pack. And the storage
period should not exceed 12 months( Different EVA interlayer film
manufacturers has different shelf life of EVA interlayer
film.).
3. Please fully confirm the corrosive and permeability of the edge
sealing reagent or glass glue before laminating EVA
interlayer film , for those may lead to EVA interlayer films breaking
away from glasses!
4. Avoid sunlights and thermal radiations. And the temperature of
storage environment should be under 45 degree.
5.Don’t store or transport EVA interlayer film with combustible or
explosive materials.
